Lizzie is a socially engaged artist, creative workshop facilitator and community arts practitioner based in Manchester, working throughout the North West.
Nature is an endless source of inspiration and mindfulness for Lizzie and shines through her artwork, which ranges from colourful paintings full of pattern, to intricate linocut and screen prints, to larger scale artworks for murals and sculptures in schools and community settings.

Curiosity, creativity and compassion are at the core of who Lizzie is. Making art and reflecting is integral to sustaining her own wellbeing and equilibrium whilst supporting others. Her personal practice is based on the therapeutic nature of art making through play and experimentation.
Lizzie is passionate about creating opportunities for Manchester’s young people and adults to access and engage in the arts for wellbeing and creative health. She has over 8 years experience facilitating art sessions for young people and adults in various settings from alternative creative education provisions, open access community groups, carers centres, in patient mental health facilities, forensic units, charity sector, museums and art galleries as well as mainstream education settings. Lizzie is also a trainee Art Psychotherapist studying a Masters at University of Chester.
She is skilled in encouraging engagement to build a sense of connection, community and supports others to rediscover self-expression and empowerment through creativity using tactile materials and visual art forms.
